We recently purchased a new 2026 Tahoe from Chapman Yuma and I want to separate two very different experiences we had during the process.
First, our salesman Manuel was excellent. He was patient, professional, helpful, and worked with us throughout the entire purchase. We genuinely appreciated the way he treated us and were very satisfied with his customer service.
Unfortunately, our experience with finance manager Joseph Schwaderer in the finance department was completely different.

Carlos w/ Chapman Chevrolet Service Department was absolutely amazing. Always kept me up to date on all issues with my truck. Sadly, the Extended Warranty with DLP was absolute trash and never responded to any emails, and even with calls they would lie and push the goalposts back further. However, Carlos was on the ball and made sure everything was as good as good can be. I have no issues with Chapman Service and will gladly take my truck back there anytime i need anything done, because i know there is an advocate in the service department for the public :).

Service was good but mechanic forgot to put back some bolts could be faster when you have an appointment
they were ok to deal with but I question the service department pushing extras you may or may not need
Jesus was excellent in the sales process. He kept the process moving forward and kept his Manager Nathan engaged. After discussion and deliberation, we were able to close the deal. I felt I was treated very fairly and I'm extremely satisfied with my new EV Equinox.
It was a painless experience. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

I’m only leaving a review in hopes that the emails and text messages will stop from this dealership. I was clear that I was from out of town yet they still wanted to upsell me on services and even offered to give me the current trade in value of my car in case I wanted to trade it in… it’s a 2024 and only has 16K miles on it; pretty sure I’d like to keep it for awhile.
I've been shopping for a truck and on two separate occasions I noted a great deal on a truck only to be told it just sold. The explanation as to why it was still advertised is it can take some time to remove ad. OK just saying buyer beware

Our sales representative was the best we ever had . Showed us the perfect car my husband wanted . Yes I will refer my friends to see our sales person.
I was parked in line for 1/2 hour waiting for someone to help me. I finally got out of my vehicle and went inside and finally got help. No one told me I had to go inside. I saw several service writers come out and help people so I just thought you wanted me to wait in my car. You need a sign that says what to do!!!
Our elderly parents went to Chapman gmc to get their air conditioner fixed and were told it would be a couple of days. After they got home they started getting calls with all that was wrong with the car to include even getting the tires rotated, they declined all of that and told them they just wanted the air conditioner fixed. It was easy to trade in my Toyota Camery for a used Chevy Colorado because John let us know what was happening each and every step. He told us to call him if we had any questions or problems and when we had problems with the app to manage our vehicle he got us connected and showed us how it worked. Thanks John
I needed a quick appointment for an oil change before starting our 3,000 mile return trip to Michigan. They were able to squeeze me in on the morning of our departure. I got the oil change and a comprehensive check-up, where they found that I needed a replacement cabin filter. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I felt that the final cost was reasonable, although I would have liked to have seen a military discount. The dealership itself was immaculate and the staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely come in again! Thank you!

Our salesman, John, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He spent all the time we needed him to spend with us and never made us feel like we were wasting his time. We did purchase our car there. It did take a dealer exchange to get the vehicle we wanted and several days for that to take place but it was well worth it. John even set up all of the features and the entertainment center for me. I will recommend John and Chapman to all of our friends.
Made an appointment a week in advance and the day I dropped my truck off I was told they wouldn't get to it for three days, I said I would bring it back in three days and was told it doesn't work that way. Had the missing chips installed ,the steering wheel aligned, the intermittent outside air button replaced, truck sits 1/4" low on driver side and still does this took them ten and a half days to complete (10 1/2) and the truck was filthy from sitting on their lot for that long
Suppose to fix my heater and it's still broke. I don't have time to take it in right now, but will be taking it back

Terrible service at our routine oil change. We went in for a routine oil change and ended up spending 500 for the oil change, air filter, and a fuel filter. After leaving the dealership the oil was at 100%, the fuel filter is still at 6% and the air filter was 66%. I’ve bought my last seven cars from fisher and it’s my last one. The have always done my service but I never again.

Brought vehicle in for noise in hind end. Was told ‘it’s normal’. No diagnostics. Noise still present. Recommended services that were not due for another 40,000 miles.
Price was higher than last time and I wasn’t expecting it as no one stated the price and I had told them what I paid the last time. After washing my car they broke the clip on my bumper. They refunded me the difference but I think I will be going elsewhere.
They were very polite and courteous when I arrived. They asked about the reason for my visit and when I conveyed I had an appointment I was promptly taken care of.
Really bad experience , look the sales man , was new , He didn’t explain a lot of things , he don’t know anything about the car that he was selling, and at the end a lot of extra charges . I got the car , bc I need it and I don’t have time to spend looking for another car. But to this dealer , I will never come back

Having said that we ordered our 2022 Chevrolet 2500 pickup in January. We ordered it exactly like we wanted. When it came in the interior was the wrong color. We could live with that so we went ahead with the deal. Then we were told we had to pay for $2313 worth of dealer add-ons. We did not want any of those but were told if we wanted the truck we had to take them.

In the past I have had so many issues with the service department. I can name three service advisors who did not help at all. Because of these issues, I have had to reach out to Sandy McKay every time, which is unacceptable. Ms. McKay is a busy woman and should not be dealing with petty issues.
I was reluctant to take my car which was out of bumper to bumper warranty. I dealt with Al Valencia for the 1st time and all I have to say is AMAZING!

A little more professional service than before. Finally got the air bag recall serviced after two appointments.
Before I purchased I pointed out some issues. They were not fixed at the time. Later I discovered the vehicle had 2 different sized tires. Used vehicle inspection is not the best.
I didn't like that when I went to financing department I had to pay for something extra that the dealership added to the car.
Excellent service, added additional service item upon arrival that had not been discussed for original appointment.
Great service, this place is awesome always courtesy, the staff makes you feel comfortable and the wait time is fast.
